My very favorite party is a casual bbq with friends. So much fun!

My dream dinner party would have to be casually catered but in a somewhat-nicer-than-normal setting. Like, sliders and french fries and fun food like that, but on a beach or something with lots of people having fun in a somewhat posh environment. Meaning: it will never happen.

(of course, if at all possible, i’d *like* to get this new apartment up to snuff to have any sort of dinner party at all. it’s big and roomy and you must come visit.)
I’m a fan of the casual BBQ, but I also love fancy dress up parties…my most common get together usually consists of something grilled, something baked, and a big ole bowl of onion dip :)

I love simple get-togethers…my favorite one is the night of our town Christmas tree lighting. I make big pots of 5 different types of soups with just some delicious bread on the side. People come as they can and stay as they like. It’s a great evening to kick off the winter holidays and warm themselves with the soup and sitting by our fireplace.

Catered, outdoor, under a tent with fairy lights and lots of citronella torches. Tapas and lots of drinks.
