The view of Santa Monica Pier from the sand.
I’ve done absolutely nothing but the minimum for the past few days.
I’ve had a tension pain in my neck since Christmas (sign of what? Who knows. Probably that I need a vacation.)
But the other morning, I looked up into my cabinets to find something to take to work for lunch and…
**crunch**snap**crunch**buckle**ouchouchouch**
I haven’t been able to move my head in two days because of searing, never-ending neck pain.
Needless to say, no crafts since Monday.
Not even any cooking.
This girl has just been daydreaming…
Me in the sand, on vacation.
If I’ve come off as a bit surly or manic on Twitter or Facebook, it’s because Extra-Strength Tylenol should’t be mixed with PMS and cocktails, but that doesn’t mean we don’t do it every now and then, right?
Take the edge off— enter to win a copy of The Boozy Baker here, or a pretty new necklace here.

Ouch… I hope you feel better soon!! I can’t tell you how many snap crackle pops my neck has turned out in the past few weeks. And what’s up with this endless winter?
But dear, even in your misery you manage to provide a post with glorious beachy images and cupcakes while talking of cocktails… *sigh*
“but that doesn’t mean we don’t do it every now and then, right?”- word. I’m right there with ya!

woohoo! it’s nice finding other partners in crime.
Oooo, feel better soon. That sounds really, really uncomfortable. (To put it mildly.) I hope you find some sand and cupcakes soon!
thanks, ada! the heating pad was helping, but now that it’s 80 outside, even THAT’s getting uncomfortable. no winning!
