I’m SO EXCITED.
After several– SEVERAL– weeks of giving up my Saturday mornings to my job, I have two full weekends coming to me. So, I have to make the most of 48 consecutive hours of not producing, writing, scheduling, recording, or broadcasting the radio show.
So, I’m gonna get mai paint ON.
Two projects to tackle:
One, furniture. My corner desk.

See it? It’s about 6 square feet. It’s still painted dusty salmon/ the hideous color our landlord painted the entire house. Ain’t much too it, but I HATE dusty salmon.
Now, I suppose I could go with with any of the paint colors I had originally pulled out for the Pottery Barn knockoff bookshelf.
But who knows.
The hallway I will probably just end up painting white, but I want some good art to hang up on the one bare wall that we have.
I’m really excited to get some stuff done on the house. Decorating is like my addiction, and I’ve been going through some major withdrawal lately.
Can you guys lend me some help with the paint color for my desk?

I vote a cheery green to compliment your trees! But you know how I feel about bright colors…
How about a warm grey? I’ve been into grey and yellows lately so I guess I’m a bit biased.

Robin’s egg blue? I like the idea of a warm grey too. For whatever reason, with those trees, I feel this need to make your desk resemble a nest. Meh, maybe not enough sleep last night, eh? ;P

What about a cranberry? I used Sherwin Williams Borscht for my office walls. I love it. Hubby commented last night how much he liked the color. ;)

the color red scares me. i’m not sure why… i might go purple, though.
Purple would be good, too. Either an “eggplant” or even a “lavender”. You could do an eggplant on the top and use lavender for the legs. ;)

that art work is FANTASTIC! LOVE LOVE LOVE it…
there really aren’t enough curse words on display in my house. since we don’t have little ones, i think expletives should become part of the decor.
